December 2008 I am delighted that Brungrange Toby - grey highland pony belonging to Ginny Duncan has arrived to be produced for the RIHS and Olympia qualifiers for next year. Mo and Steph Haslams riding horse (name to be announced) is arriving tomorrow to be produced by me for Steph to ride throughout the season, so great excitement for us in the run up to Christmas! November 2008 STOP PRESS … Thieves broke in to our tack room on 11th November and stole all my tack including show saddles and bridles, dressage saddles and bridles and schooling tack, as well as tack belonging to event rider, Pip Taylor, 2 owners and 3 DIY liveries. Anyone with any information that might help retrieve any of the items, please contact me or Thames Valley Police, Banbury, on 08458 505505 October 2008 All our horses went beautifully at HOYS and we were placed in every class. Well done the team! Broadstone Dolce Vita—3rd, Large Riding Horse “Ronnie” (Blue Rondo) has now settled in and is working well—see new pics on For Sale page. September 2008 Following his success at Bucks County in August, Daldorn Legacy was Champion Novice Hack at the British Show Horse Championships. He is half brother to the HOYS 2005 Hack Champion, Daldorn State Melody and the Champion Riding Horse, Daldorn Java Star. He is owned and bred by Lady Benton Jones. August 2008 Daldorn Legacy won the Novice class at Bucks County, 1st in Small Hack qualifying for HOYS, and Champion, for Lady Benton Jones. What a result! - we are all delighted! Hamish qualified for the NPS Top Spec Dressage Finals in Prelim and Novice, ridden by Holly. Blue Rondo, 16.1hh dark bay TB, arrived to be produced for a client and/or sold. Broadstone Dolce Vita was 1st and 2nd at Aston Le Walls affiliated dressage, ridden by Holly in the Novice and Elementary qualifiers with 71.30% and 67.85%, which we are delighted with! Two other pupils were in form with Debbie Biscombe coming 6th in the Preliminary Midland Regional Finals with 67.85% and Megan Rigg qualifying in the Novice and Elementary Freestyle to Music qualifiers at Moreton Morrell with 72% and 73%. Congratulations! July 2008 Zorpari arrived—a new dressage ride for Holly. He is a 4yo Dutch bred by Cabouchon that we broke in last year. Now he has come back and Holly will start work on him very shortly, hope to be in action by Christmas. June 2008 Townend Hamish II is Champion Fell at Hickstead and qualifies for HOYS June 2008 Broadstone Dolce Vita stands Champion Riding Horse at Lincoln, earning their HOYS ticket June 2008 New Small Hack arrives – Daldorn Legacy, owned by Lady Benton Jones, is a half brother to Daldorn State Melody and Daldorn Java Star, both successfully produced by Jo. May 2008 Broadstone Dolce Vita stands Reserve Champion Riding Horse at Royal Windsor April 2008 Townend Hamish II arrives! Jo will produce the fell, Townend Hamish, for owner, Denise Bumford. “He is a super ride, I loved him from the moment I sat on him”, says Jo. |
